We want to strongly encourage people to hang out on TS – actually talking to people allows you to get to know them heaps better than just watching guild chat! Yes it may be a little daunting at first if you don’t feel you know anyone, but you’re allowed to just sit and listen if you’re shy. The details of the server are in the guild window in game and you can ask anyone how to download/install it.
For the most part the rules here are the same as the general guild guidelines, with one or two additions.
All the rules about bullying still apply. If I catch anyone being nasty or belligerent, you’ll earn a ban (temporary or permanent) from the server.
If we are doing a guild event and an Peacekeeper or Warmaster tells you to shut up, do so... or you will lose your talk powers for the duration of that event.
Try to keep your voice to a reasonable level. I know we all get excited during raids, but try not to shout.
Disagreements are bound to happen from time to time. If you find yourself going at it with someone, take yourselves off to a separate channel; don’t make everyone listen to an argument.
Don’t interrupt people in raids. If you really need to speak to someone in a raid room, poke them and wait patiently.
Try to hang out in general chat so you actually get to know people outside your immediate circle and make the new members feel welcome!
Do *not* hang out in raid rooms unless you are actually raiding. We want our TS to be inclusive and social, not full of little cliques who refuse to socialise with others.
If you’re doing something specific that might require lots of talking (PvP, GSF), then please hop to that channel to minimise diruptions to general conversation.
For the love of all that's holy, don't use continuous transmission!!!!!!!!
